Simple to Use Controls
Switch on the centre power rocker switch to begin heating up the boiler. The professional grade switches control the steam function and the coffee. A series of indicator lights inform you when the machine is powered up, and when it is at the proper temperature for either brewing espresso or steaming milk.
Pressure Gauge
The front mounted pressure gauge monitors the brewing pressure while making espresso to help insure a proper "espresso extraction." Extracts at 1.2 bar pressure for maximum taste from the coffee

Simple Brewing Features
The Basic begins great coffee with the simple push of a button that starts the flow of espresso and continues until you have the desired amount of coffee.  Durable buttons comprise the control panel and all the controls are logically arranged and simple to use.  Blue LED lights tell you when the machine is powered up and when it is at the proper temperature for either brewing espresso or steaming milk.

Quality Brewing Group
The group head (the component that accepts the coffee holder) is made of chrome plated brass.  Designed after Ascaso's commercial espresso machines, the Basics group head evenly distributes heat and reduces “hotspots” for more temperature consistent espresso. It has also been designed to evenly distribute water across the coffee grounds for a better extraction.

16 BAR Water Pump
What separates this type of machine from the typical domestic is the pressure it uses to extract the full flavour from the coffee. Basically you get coffee shop quality!

Steam wand
Easy to use steam wand – just fill jug 1/3 full of milk and turn steam knob- your jug will be filled to 2/3 full with commercial quality steam.

Pods or ground coffee
Use either pre-ground coffee or coffee pods. This versatile model comes with filter baskets for both
